Compact Cylinder with Guide Rod CQMB: High-Precision Guided Solutions for Global Industry
Description
CQM Series: Compact Cylinder with Integrated Guide Rods
High-Precision Linear Motion with Enhanced Lateral Load Resistance
The CQM Series is a specialized compact cylinder designed for industrial automation where space is limited but high structural rigidity is required. By integrating guide rods directly into the cylinder body, this series delivers superior non-rotating accuracy and significantly higher resistance to lateral loads compared to standard compact cylinders.

Key Performance Advantages
- Superior Lateral Load Resistance: Engineered to withstand 2 to 4 times the lateral load of the standard CQ series compact cylinders.
- Precision Non-Rotating Accuracy: Achieves an accuracy of ±0.2° or less for bore sizes ø12 and ø16, and ±0.1° or less for bore sizes ø20 through ø50.
- Direct Load Mounting: The integrated plate allows for the direct mounting of loads, simplifying machine design and assembly.
- Space-Efficient Integration: Compatible with the mounting dimensions of the CQS and CQ2 series, allowing for easy upgrades to existing systems.
- Ease of Maintenance: Auto switches can be mounted or removed even when the plate is in the fully retracted position.

High-Quality Construction Materials
Every component is selected for maximum durability and performance in high-cycle environments:
- Cylinder Tube: Aluminum alloy (Hard anodized)
- Plate: Aluminum alloy (Anodized for ø12–40; Chromated/Coated for ø50)
- Guide Rod: Stainless steel (ø12–25); Carbon steel with hard chrome plating (ø32–50)
- Piston Rod: Stainless steel (ø12–25); Carbon steel with hard chrome plating (ø32–50)
- Bushing: Oil-impregnated sintered alloy or Bronze casting
- Seals: NBR (Piston and Rod seals)

Ordering and Integration Notes
- Mounting Styles: Standard through-hole (Type B) is available for all sizes. For ø32 to ø50, a “Both ends tapped” (Type A) option is also available.
- Auto Switch Compatibility: Supports a variety of reed and solid-state switches (e.g., D-M9, D-A9, D-F7). Switches are typically packed together but shipped unassembled.
- Operating Precaution: This cylinder is designed for precision guided motion and should not be used as a stopper. Ensure operation remains within the allowable kinetic energy and rotational torque ranges to prevent damage
