Clean Room and Specialized Models
The CDU series offers four distinct variations for controlled environments, focusing on low particle generation and material purity.
- Relief Type (Series 10- & 21-): Features specific grease types to meet Grade 2 (Series 10) or Grade 3 (Series 21) particle generation standards.
- Vacuum Suction Type (Series 11- & 22-): Designed for Grade 1 cleanroom environments, utilizing a suction flow rate to eliminate internal particles.
- Material Standards: Series 21 and 22 are classified as Copper, Fluorine, and Silicon-free, ensuring compatibility with sensitive electronics and battery manufacturing.

Auto Switch Integration
All CDU cylinders are equipped with a built-in magnet as standard for position sensing. The body features longitudinal grooves for flush mounting of the following switch types:
- Reed Switch (D-A93): 2-wire type, 24 VDC load voltage, 5 to 40mA load current.
- Solid State Switch (D-M9B/D-M9N): 2-wire or 3-wire types (NPN), 24 VDC (10 to 28 VDC) load voltage.

Installation and Maintenance Guidelines
Proper Tightening Torque
To ensure the integrity of the free-mount body, bolts must be tightened according to the following specifications:
| Bore Size (mm) | Bolt Size | Torque (N·m) |
|---|---|---|
| ø6, ø10 | M3 | 1.08 ±10% |
| ø16 | M4 | 2.45 ±10% |
| ø20, ø25 | M5 | 5.10 ±10% |
Operational Precautions
- Condensation: When using auto switches, ensure the environment remains dry to prevent condensation, which can lead to switch malfunction.
- Mounting Position: For stroke end detection, adjust the auto switch position confirm accurate operation, noting that switch dimensions for the D-A93 type vary slightly from solid-state models.
- Cleanliness: For vacuum suction models, refer to the suction flow rate reference values (e.g., 6 to 12 l/min ANR) to maintain proper particle containment
