Magnetically Coupled Rodless Cylinder RMH: High-Precision Manufacturing Solutions for Global Industry
Description
RMH Series: Precision Rodless Magnetic Cylinder
Magnetically Coupled Design with Integrated Linear Guide Rail
The RMH Series is a high-performance pneumatic rodless cylinder featuring a magnetic coupling mechanism. By utilizing a mobile internal piston fitted with annular magnets to drive an external carriage, this series provides a compact, leak-proof solution for precision linear motion,. The integrated linear slide rail ensures high operational accuracy, prevents body rotation, and significantly enhances load-bearing capacity,.

Performance & Load Data
1. Safe Holding Force
The magnetic coupling determines the maximum force that can be applied before the carriage decouples from the piston.
| Bore Size | Safe Holding Force (N) | Max. Load W (kg)* | Max. Stroke (mm) |
|---|---|---|---|
| ø10 | 55 N | 1.4 – 2.4 | 300 |
| ø16 | 140 N | 3.0 – 5.0 | 500 |
| ø20 | 220 N | 3.6 – 6.0 | 800 |
| ø25 | 345 N | 4.8 – 8.0 | 800 |
*Max load varies based on stroke length and loading orientation. Loading center and slide table center must be superposed for optimal performance,.
2. Theoretical Holding Force vs. Pressure
- ø25: ~520 N at 1.0 MPa
- ø20: ~340 N at 1.0 MPa
- ø16: ~210 N at 1.0 MPa
- ø10: ~80 N at 1.0 MPa

Key Engineering Features
- Integrated Linear Guide: The external carriage travels along a high-precision slide rail, ensuring the body does not rotate and providing strong resistance to moments,.
- Compact & Efficient Mounting: The cylinder body and load can be mounted from two different directions, with all inlet and outlet ports conveniently located on the same side to simplify piping.
- Dual-End Cushioning: Combines non-adjustable rubber bumpers with adjustable pneumatic cushioning to ensure smooth, impact-free operation at stroke ends.
- Dust-Proof Isolation: The design provides effective isolation between the carriage and piston, preventing external contaminants from entering the main tube.
- Sensor Integration: Features a dedicated rail for matching magnetic sensors (Models: CMSH, DMSH, EMSH).

Operational & Maintenance Guidelines
- Shock Absorption: For applications requiring higher energy dissipation, standard adjusting screws can be replaced with ACA Series hydraulic shock absorbers (e.g., ACA0806-1 for ø10; ACA1412-1 for ø25).
- Air Quality: The medium must be filtered to 40μm or below. Ensure pipes are cleared of debris before connection.
- Workpiece Selection: It is highly recommended to use non-magnetically conductive materials for workpieces. If magnetically conductive materials are used, the operational lifetime may be halved.
- Storage: If stored for long periods, apply anti-rust treatment to surfaces and ensure anti-dust caps are installed in ports.
- External Limits: If an external limiter is required for intermediate stops, refer to the RMS series guidelines
